With all the change happening, the one constant in all of the uncertainty is the desire to provide our students with a quality education that prepares them for success in the 21st century. Yet, we find ourselves in another unprecedented time in history, one of transition with the state funding model, a decline in men and women entering the noble profession of education, and a time of change in our nation. At this moment, we find ourselves moving further and further from the Covid Pandemic while continuing to provide our students a quality education, opportunities, and resources for them and to the dedicated men and women of LCSS who play a significant role in the lives of our children. Kevin Carsuo, Chairman of the Lawrence County Board of Education, members of the Board of Education, and the nearly 900 dedicated men and women of the Lawrence County School System and the nearly 7,000 students of LCSS thank you for visiting our website, but most of all, thank you for entrusting your sons and daughters to our care. Greetings from the Lawrence County School System!
